KBC Christmas Party

Updated: 1 hour ago

The KBC Christmas Party this year saw an impressive turnout, with 88 people attending. Special thanks go to Merle and Wendy for organising the event and Alex Daw who stood up to MC. The Solstice Guitar Duo delivered an outstanding performance as special guests at this year's party. They began with background music before captivating everyone with a ten-minute set that mesmerised the entire room. The event held at Jindalee Hotel on Sunday, December 7 provided an excellent opportunity for members to socialise in a relaxed environment.

Following the President's customary address and the awards presentation, the traditional Christmas Cake Raffle took place. As in previous years, Sue Young generously baked and donated her cake to the club. This year's raffle winner was Cherie Orchard. Thanks to the generosity of our members and Sue Young, the raffle raised over $500. Thanks also to Christine & Ron Williams who donated the wonderful timber crafted pens to the raffle.

The Solstice Guitar Duo who played at our Xmas Party have a GoFundMe page here if you would like to support them while they are studying at Alicante in Spain

Or if you just want to hear their music they are on Spotify here

We wish Clancy and Dominic all the very best.
