TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

CHRIS WILLIAMS - MARGARET GIEBELS - JILL DUNNING - MICK FAWCETT

The 2025 Teams Championship was held on Saturday 15 November at The Friary.

There were six strong teams vying for the title and after playing five, eleven board rounds there was one clear winner, the Giebels team of Margaret Giebels, Mick Fawcett, Jill Dunning and Chris Williams with five wins from five matches. Margaret and Mick were also the top datum pair for the event, with Jill and Chris not far behind.

Taking out 2nd place was the Rusher team, Graham Rusher, Maria Mills, Anne Russell and Bill Szumidlo with four wins and one loss.

Congratulations to all teams competing on the day and a big thank you to Julie Jeffries who directed flawlessly.
